Meet The Team
Bob Meyer
Bob is one of the founding members of RMG Outdoor. Since the inception of RMG in 1989, Bob has worked hard to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. His vast background in all areas of sign fabrication and installation make it easy for him to deliver a high-quality product and provide technical support through-out the entire sign process.
Promoted to President in January 2000, Bob has led RMG Outdoor into becoming one of the leading billboard structure supply companies in the country. RMG is very excited about celebrating its 34th year in business and is committed to continually showing its clients a true commitment to provide the highest level of quality and total customer satisfaction available.
In Bob’s spare time, he enjoys golf and painting. His love of art and dealing with life spawned this creative feeling 10 years ago. He also enjoys spending time with his two grandchildren, Lennon and Hollis.
Chad Kaehr
Chad joined the team in 2006 with RMG partner Quality Billboards Inc., supplying faces and parts for the outdoor industry. Since then, the RMG team has supplied him the knowledge and resources to help clients in their entire billboard projects from start to finish. His hard work and attention to detail are exactly what it takes to bring an idea from paper to completion.
When Chad isn’t spending time building signs, he likes to play golf, ride dirt-bikes, and spend time with his family.
Helen Paat
Helen came to RMG Outdoor in 2001 with a strong accounting background and a tireless work ethic. While managing the day to day accounts payable/accounts receivable departments, she is also chiefly responsible for keeping our offices running as smoothly as possible.
John Weaver
John joined RMG in 2005. As a licensed civil and structural engineer in several states, John works to develop site specific, efficient and code compliant sign structure designs. He collaborates closely with sales staff, customers, and contractors to maintain RMG’s high level of customer service including quickly addressing any field issues during erection. In addition, John manages RMG’s detailing staff.
Away from the office, John enjoys time with family, playing tennis and lifting weights.
Jeff Mikkelson
Jeff joined the team in 2021 as a Computer Aided Draftsman. Jeff came to RMG Outdoor with 15 years of steel detailing creating fabrication and installation drawings for a variety of structural steel buildings and miscellaneous structures using both Tekla and Auto Cad design programs. Before Jeff was a draftsman, he spent 15 years as a steel fabricator, building the structural components he now designs.
Jeff’s experience as a fabricator in a variety of weld shops working from drawings created by steel detailers is what makes himself an exceptional draftsman.
Paul LaFrenier
Paul joined RMG in 2013. Working in the construction industry for over 38 years. Starting off working as a carpenter in New Jersey, building custom homes and decks for 8 years. He then moved to Arizona in 1993 and worked as Computer Aided Draftsperson in the Pre-Engineered Metal building field, working primarily in the agriculture arena building dairy facilities for 6 years.
Started working as a Structural Steel Detailer using AutoCAD for two years eventually making the move to 3D Modeling/Detailing using Tekla Structures software. He has been using Tekla Structures since 2000. Working on anything from Custom Multi-Million dollar homes, Schools, Factories and Mining facilities. Now working for RMG Outdoor detailing sign structures of all shapes and sizes.
In his free time, Paul enjoys spending time with family and grandkids. Hobbies include, playing guitar, riding motorcycles, traveling and leading an active lifestyle.
Joe Richardson
Joe started in the Billboard industry in 2002 when he started at Quality Billboards while in High School. After a short hiatus doing HVAC and Diesel mechanics Joe returned to Quality billboards to take over the Forman position from 2007 till 2021. Currently Joe is serving as the Operations Manager/Logistics coordinator for RMG and Quality Billboards. Joe is AWS Welding certified and enjoys working on small fabrication projects for friends and family. On off time Joe enjoys the outdoors, cooking/grilling and spending time with his 3 children.
